Citizenship and Solidarity
Our commitment to the environment is not limited to our management policies. Through our daily actions we try to act like responsible citizens, in the belief that this is the best way to promote our values.
Trough simple gestures…
We prefer to use email in order to limit our paper consumption and encourage our partners to do the same. All of the paper we use in our offices is environmentally friendly (either recycled or labelled FSC^1^). Our electricity is from renewable sources and we sort our office waste in partnership with the company, PAPREC.
Success is only worthwhile if it is shared …
We work with the charity Nouveau Pôle in order to identify projects which share our values. As a result, Financière de Champlain every year donates a percentage of its net profits to either humanitarian or environmental non-profit organisations.
In 2006, we have supported:
- L’Association AUTREMONDE fighting against poverty and exclusion.
- L’Association MAGDALENA92, offering listening and support to isolated persons.
- L’Association ANTENNA France fighting malnutrition in the world through the culture of spirulina.
- L’Association COLLECTIF ALPHA specialized for 30 years in the ellimination of illiteracy
- L’Association MEGEV offering magic shows to hospitalized or abandoned children
- L’Association LA MIE DE PAIN One of the most important foster care in Paris dedicated to homeless persons.
